Did u guys ashely give a traninig or is your training just on videos?
——–
Hi Marie,
Are you asking if we do live workshops? If so, the answer is no. The video training is VERY comprehensive. This learning system allows for a great experience for people all over the world.
Question…my bootcamps are done from within my garage. It is a 3 car garage which I will use 2 bays for class. I otherwise park my cars when I have no class. The problem I have is inspite of its size, I can’t imagine how I would work with laying down pads on the floor and then needing to pull them up afterclass. Any thoughts?

Lisa
You have a great opportunity.
All you have to do is put down a yoga or regular exercise mat for 3-4 exercises (that’s it). Pick them up and move them to the side when you are done…. Taaa-daaaa! That’s it. Doing TACTIX in your garage let’s you keep 100% of the profit.
Good idea.
What advertising will you be doing to push Tactix nationally and globally? Everyone has heard of or used “P90x” or “Tae Bo” etc. How are you planning on competing with other programs like these. My concern is that I would be promoting Tactix at my gym and none of the clients or members will know about it. If I mention that I use methods from P90x or Shaun T’s “Insanity” (or others) most people know what I’m talking about (even if they’ve never done them) and there’s a “built-in” product recognition. How will my clients/members know about Tactix?

After you read through both sites carefully and watch all the videos, let me know what questions remain. TACTIX is not MMA.
Please see the video and read the home page in detail. It explains the Gym Pak in extensive detail. After you read through it all, let me know what questions remain.
The workout DOES NOT have to be done barefoot. We filmed the videos on a wrestling/jiu jitsu mat, and going barefoot is the norm. You can use shoes. Enjoy the program.
I am a certified, licenced, registered self defence instructor, plus personal trainer for many year. NESTA certifed also
I find it very difficult to get women and men interested in realistic Self Defence classes and workshops. Surprisingly in my opinion people just do not take the importance seriously enough. Is this because of the negative feeling this brings? People tend to blank out the importance or just say it will never happen to them….and it’s happening all the time?? I have been thinking of changing my style to a more fitness based format, plus realistic self defence class and then I found Tactix. What’s your experiance with teaching specific self defence.
Lee
TACTIX does not play out scenarios. It is not “realistic” self-defense like “street ready” type programs.
What you said above is exactly why we did not do TACTIX that way. People want to be in a positive environment for fitness.
The pads and gloves can ship anywhere in the world. Our supplier is the largest martial arts supplier in the world.

I posted a question the other day regarding Tactix.. I know the intro sale price is over. Knowing that I missed that window, I would like to know the new price for the Tactix training as well, as I would like to know the price of the equipment pad, gloves etc. As I need to know the total cost before I go forward with the training. Thank you for your time and consideration…
Best,
Diane
Hello from John….
The equipment is about $80 per person and it will last for many years.
Do I have to have a padded floor (like in bjj or mma classrooms/dojos)? Or can I do this with the rubberized floor I have in my studio? (I’m just thinking about the ground moves and pivoting on barefeet…had a few rips & blisters myself over the years). Do you have any recommendations?
I have a couple of questions regarding the Tactix course. I have looked at both the Tactix and the MMACA course. In the MMACA course there is a full course content breakdown, whilst there does not seem to be for Tactix?
I was also interested to see that the courses are priced the same, however Tactix is 10hrs of study, whilst the MMACA course is 70hrs?
Amanda, TACTIX just launched at the end of October. So, they are not launched yet in local communities. It takes a few weeks to PROPERLY PREPARE and do a successful launch.
GMA
The reason for the difference is the complete uniqueness in the MMACA and TACTIX. The MMACA is more of a “traditional curriculum format”. TACTIX, by comparison, is a turn-key business system. When you read through the entire site and watch both videos, you will know exactly what you are getting.
RA – We do not offer a payment plan. People order using their credit card and make VERY small payments to the bank. It’s actually better on a monthly budget.
Yes! All people can do TACTIX. Obviously, if someone is less fit, you will need to slow the tempo and modify some exercises. I would offer a special class for them and do not mix very fit with baby boomers.
I know you can’t own, patent, or tradmark movement, so where DID some of your ideas come from?
Answer from John…….
I don’t know what TacFit is, so……. it would be impossible to have gotten ideas from it.
I have 20+ years in 5 martial arts systems and too many credentials in fitness to list here.
THAT is where the ideas and methods come from!
A quick google search of my name will show you that this is not the first fitness or martial arts program I have developed.
Hi! This sounds like an amazing opp. I have been looking for a course like this to hold at my studio. My main concern is: If I have this course at my studio, does it have to be the only class we offer?
On a side note-I have a program that I started at my studio in 2009 (not martial arts based) that I want to have grow into a certifying program people could take and gain continuing education credits for…similar to the set-up TACTIX has with Nesta…
Can you email me one-on-one regarding this topic?
Lesa, You can offer any course and class you want. You have total freedom. We guide you as part of your training.
As for certifying your creation, etc……. that is a long and detailed process. At this time, I am not consulting people on this unless they are a member of Fitness Fortunes. You do get a membership when you register for TACTIX. Please join us.
Since the price is pretty low, there is no payment plan. However, since you are ordering via your credit card, you can always make small payments to your card. We’re here when you are ready.
I am working on your MMA Conditioning Cert but would love to know if their will be any specials offered on this program for people who already paid for another one. Thanks!
Since the price is already really low, we cannot extend any additional discounts. TACTIX actually has a value well over $1000. Since you are a member of the MMACA, you know the quality programs we produce. TACTIX offers you the same quality and value.
We have people who can design really cool web sites for your TACTIX business.
Go to http://www.personaltrainertools.com for all the info on web design.
My mother, who had had Multiple Sclerosis for 14 years. She started TACTIX 4 months ago, and does it 3 times a week, (every class), at East West Karate. When my mom started TACTIX with Dave Bloemer, she couldn’t run, do a push-up, or even a simple sit-up. She couldn’t jump, or even balance on one foot without falling. SHE STARTED SLOWLY! Now, after the 4 months of TACTIX, she can do all the things I mentioned she couldn’t do! It’s really a miracle. If it wasn’t for TACTIX, she would be laying in bed, and having a nanny take care of us like it used to be. Along with TACTIX, she has lost 130 pounds since last year, and has an incredibly healthy diet.
Tara, Great question! TACTIX is done to music if you like, but it is not required or taught (in your certification) with music. Basically, it is up to you. It will likely be around 120-140BPM. I think we have a few people in Canada, but I do not know their names or locations off hand.
I have a space and teach a martial arts fit class. I make ‘em sweat! Tactix seems like it will be much more organized than what I’m doing. Does your system include detailed marketing plans? Fee schedules?
I am interested in TACTIX but need to know the specifics on cost. I am not able to access your online store and would like to know my cost on pads and gloves. If you could please forward that to me. Thank you.
John I have been reading a great deal of information from you and I just want to thank you for helping guide professionals like myself. I can only imagine that you receive thousands of emails like mine, so I greatly appreciate your time! I am from a pretty small community, one of the first independent personal fitness trainers in town 8 years ago, but recently in the last couple of years there has been an explosion of trainers. I have been thinking a lot about setting myself aside from the rest and finding my “niche”. I also know that with our new economy I am finding that group training will be the best as well as be the best for me personally and professionally. Although I still have many loyal clients that absolutely love one-on-one training but I am really wanting to be exclusively a group trainer. I am having a difficult time choosing between Adventure Bootcamp, IMPACT, or TACTIX. I am wanting to make the investment but what would be best? All of them sound great! Thank you again for your time!

We will offer Gym Pak upgrades later. We haven’t finalized a price, but it will be discounted. I’ll look for your registration tomorrow.

Hey Christian
TACTIX is 100% different. There are so many differences, I cannot list them all here.
Read the description of each program, and you will see how very different they are from one another.
If you haven’t registered for either…. review both, decide on your goals and register for the one that serves you best.

TACTIX featured in Club Industry magazine’s “newsbeat”
I thought I’d let you know TACTIX was just announced to club owners all over the world via the leading industry publication for club owners.
I won’t mention all featured/mentions, but I will tell you about the big ones!

Michelle,
You do not need a padded floor. Only a couple exercises have to be modified if you have a hard floor. You can use an exercise mat if you like.
You can use shoes or bare feet.
Is there somewhere that I could attend a Tactix class at this time? With the first 100 people already certifying, they are bound to be popping up.
